Try Girls Hockey for Free
In Celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day
The North Shore Warhawks is a girls-only hockey program, committed to supporting the development of young women as athletes, leaders, and members of society through a competitive hockey environment that instills life values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, a consistent work ethic, and respect for self and others.
We are excited to announce we will be hosting a Try Girls Hockey event, in celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day. The event will be held on Friday, February 7, 6:20pm at Twin Rinks Ice Pavillion in Buffalo Grove.
This event is perfect for:
- Girls new to hockey and/or skating (born in 2014 or later)
- Girls who have completed at least one session of "Learn to Play" (born in 2014 or later)
- Girls who currently play on a coed or girls' hockey team (born in 2012 or later)
Come and experience the fun and thrilling game of hockey, and learn from some of the best coaches in the area, all for FREE!
Staff will be on hand throughout the event to answer any of your questions regarding the Warhawks program or youth hockey in general.

The North Shore Warhawks skate out of several ice rinks and cover a wide area of the North Shore region. Here are the primary locations where we skate out of:

Gear Requirements
Full hockey gear is required in order to participate. If the participant does not have any hockey gear, then any helmet, gloves, knee, and elbow pads are fine. Hockey skates, sticks, and other equipment from our used-gear inventory will be available to borrow or purchase at the event.
Registration
All skaters must be registered in order to participate. Please click on the appropriate button below depending on whether or not the participant as a USA Hockey Confirmation Number. If you are not sure, click on "Participant Does Not Have a USA Hockey Number".
