President - Ryan Maguire

The Role: involves leading the Board of Directors, managing overall performance, coordinating with key hockey organizations, overseeing financial and operational aspects, and promoting the association and youth hockey.

The Person: Ryan has been a dedicated member of the North Shore Warhawks organization since 2018, with three daughters actively involved. His strong leadership drives our vision and mission for a female-led organization. With roots in Boston, Ryan's upbringing in hockey influenced his commitment; following in his father's footsteps, he's developing opportunities for girls on the North Shore and beyond. Ryan has coached 12U and younger teams for several years and manages multiple responsibilities behind the scenes.

Chris Schoeneck

Vice President - Chris Schoeneck

The Role: serves as the NIHL Rep/ACE Director, acting as backup President, administering NWHA policies, attending NIHL meetings, and participating in key committees.

The Person: Chris is a lifelong advocate for hockey, especially for female players. Before joining the board in 2023, he played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding girls' hockey at the Waukesha County Youth Hockey Association. Chris and his daughter became members of the Warhawks in spring 2022, and we are fortunate to have them both, benefiting from Chris's extensive experience.

Treasurer - Dwayne Sharun

The Role: manages financial oversight for NWHA, including budget approval, cost allocation, accounts receivable, audit coordination, and consultant contract preparation.

The Person: I am Canadian...what more do I need to say!

Registrar - Ed Sirijintakarn

The Role: Handles player and coach registrations, maintains team rosters, ensures compliance with training and documentation requirements, and assists with tournament sanctioning and travel permits.

The Person: Ed is currently serving his 3rd year as Registrar for the North Shore Warhawks. As registrar, he values and takes pride in the unique opportunity he has to follow each and every Warhawk along their journey through youth hockey.

His other roles and responsibilities include being the Manager Chair of Youth Teams, maintaining the Warhawks social media presence, creating graphics and other creative media, and supporting the club's IT needs.

Secretary - Michael Podemski

The Role: manages meeting communications, records and distributes minutes and agendas, organizes association documents, ensures by-law compliance, and coordinates volunteer support.

The Person: Michael Podemski is currently serving as the Secretary for the Board of Directors of the North Shore Warhawks. He has previously held the role of director for communications, marketing, and sponsorship. His daughter is currently a second-year squirt starting her hockey career with the 8U Warhawks team. His experience in youth hockey includes serving as an assistant coach for the Skokie Flyers and the Skokie Flying Cats. Michael has also contributed his time as a back-up NIHL representative for the Evanston Wildkits and team manager for the Mammoth Hockey Club. Finally, he was a team manager for Fenwick High School Girls’ Ice Hockey and their back-up representative for the Metro Girls Hockey League.

The Role: manages the inventory, distribution, purchase, and maintenance of all association equipment and merchandise, ensuring proper storage and tracking throughout the season.

Communications & Sponsorships - Heather Heater

The Role: manages social media profiles and content campaigns, provides regular newsletter updates, and develops a sponsorship program to engage local businesses and support the association.

The Person: As a newcomer to the Warhawks Board, Heather oversees Marketing, Communications, and Sponsorships - eager to foster connections and strengthen voices in our community. Outside of board responsibilities, she enjoys watching her daughter thrive on the ice, igniting her desire to inspire the growth of the next generation of female players. She is particularly excited to help grow the future of our program, aiming to create opportunities that empower young athletes through the sport we all cherish.
