Our National Bound Teams are designed for hockey players who are looking to join a competetive team in Tier II Girls Hockey. These teams will have a chance to participate in national tournaments and championships, facing off against top-tier competition from across the country.

What Makes a Team "National Bound"?

National Bound Teams are formed at the 14U, 16U, and 19U age groups and have the opportunity to qualify for USA Hockey’s National Championships. Players on these teams undergo intense training, high-level coaching, and competitive matchups, preparing them for success at both the regional and national levels.

• Ice Practices: 3x per week (+70 total)
• Off-Ice Workouts: 2x per week

If your player is selected for a National Bound Team, AHAI requires all players that want to commit to the team, sign a Player Card:

AHAI Rule: 17.10.10 These player cards will commit all signed players to play for that team for the ensuing playing season. Players may not “opt out” once a player card has been signed. Any player who signs a qualified player card is committed to that Tier II Girls’ team.

We will be holding a special event for players who have been offered a position, during the evening of Friday, June 19th at Rosemont Ice Arena. This event, "Team Acceptance and Card Signing Night", will be a celebration for the team and their families and give them an opportunity to sign a Player Card by the required date, get fitted for a Jersey, and purchase apparel for the season.
